Quezon Power (Philippines) Limited Co. employees joined fellow volunteers from other companies and local government units for this year’s coastal clean-up activity held in Mauban Quezon on September 22.

“This is part of Quezon Power’s commitment of being a responsible steward of the environment. Through this activity, QPL shows the importance of forests, wildlife, biological diversity, mangrove and coral reefs to residents in the impact area and its vicinities,” QPL said.

QPL employee-volunteers helped gather garbage along the coastlines Sitio Noah, Barangay Cagsiay I in support for this year’s International Coastal Clean Up initiative.

The coastal clean-up, which was organized by the Mauban Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) in cooperation with the Mauban local government, was also participated in by volunteers from the Pearl Energy Philippines Operating, Inc., Miescor, Far East Hotel and Gervasio Security Agency.
